Pieces and Parts children's book is truly a Labor of Love.


I was volunteering in my kids' classrooms, reading book after book, and noticed my children were almost never represented. With a background in storytelling, and diversity and inclusion, I thought can I create something my creative kids, and yours, could have a little fun with? Pieces and Parts was my answer.


I crafted, wrote, edited, illustrated, and eventually published Pieces and Parts. I learned so much and surprised myself with the truth, which is sometimes you really do get back the energy you put out into the world.


To my delight, little ones seem to love the silly story, and cute illustrations. I get pictures of kids drawing themselves into the disco scene all the time, and I love it! Feel free to send me your pictures and drawings at Michele@round-circle.com.
