Are you in Love with Ikea? What about Organization? No More Open Shelves! No More Mess!

We all start out with good intentions, just like open shelving. But, if you have a busy family, and a lot of stuff, you know things can get messy fast. Then you have to bring zen, calm and clean to your space.

The Solution - Doors.

After much research I found these clean white cabinets online at Ikea. I measure and take a trip to see the cabinets in person to evaluate the construction and style.

These were too tall but the right color and style.


These were the right size but the wrong color.

After an easy checkout and a peak at the The Amazing Cinnamon Rolls - Gluten Free Sadness.


We start our family project.


Tips: empty and clean the room, have at least 1 person with a good attitude to work with, always build on the cardboard, and follow the pretty easy to follow instructions.



This took about 2-2:30 hours per cabinet.
